Create and manage rewards
Build a rewards catalogue that fits your margins and update it any time.
Build your rewards catalogue
Your rewards catalogue is the menu of items or discounts customers can redeem with their points. You decide what to offer, how many points each reward costs, and when to retire or refresh items. Most businesses start with three to five core rewards and expand over time.
Each reward has a name, description, point cost, and optional photo. You control availability - set a reward to active when you're ready to offer it, or pause it if you're out of stock or want to rotate offerings.
Price your rewards
Points have a fixed value: 100 points equals $1.00 CAD. When setting a reward's point cost, think about your margins and what feels generous without hurting profitability. A free coffee might cost 300 points (a $3 value), while a percentage-off discount or signature item might be priced higher.
You can adjust point costs any time. If a reward isn't moving, lower the cost to make it more attractive. If it's too popular and squeezing margins, raise the cost or retire it in favour of something else.
Add photos and descriptions
Customers see your rewards in the app and on the website, so clear photos and descriptions help them decide what to redeem. A photo of your signature dessert or a clean shot of a gift card makes the reward feel tangible and exciting.
Descriptions should be short and specific. Instead of 'Free item,' say 'Free 12 oz latte' or 'Free appetizer (up to $8 value).' Clarity builds trust and reduces confusion at the counter.
Rotate and refresh
Loyalty programs work best when they stay fresh. Retire rewards that aren't popular, introduce seasonal items, or run limited-time offers to create urgency. Customers who see new rewards are more likely to engage and redeem.
You can also create tiers of rewards - low-cost items for new customers and premium rewards for your most loyal visitors. This keeps the program accessible while rewarding deeper engagement.
