What is Scan and Pay?
Scan and Pay lets you pay for your purchase and collect your loyalty points in a single step. Instead of tapping your credit card and then showing your loyalty account, you scan a QR code at the counter, confirm the amount in the app, and pay with your saved card. Your points are added instantly.
It is faster than traditional checkout because you do both steps at once. No need to pull out a credit card, no need to scan a separate loyalty code.
How to use it
When you are ready to pay, open the Sopoints app and tap the Scan button. Point your camera at the QR code the merchant shows you - either on their screen or printed at the counter. The app will display the amount and ask you to confirm. Choose your saved payment method, tap Pay, and you are done. Your receipt and points appear in the app right away.
Setting up your payment
Before you can use Scan and Pay, you need to add a payment method in the app. Go to your profile, tap Wallet or Payment Methods, and add a credit or debit card. Your card information is stored securely and you can add or remove cards anytime. Some businesses also accept Apple Pay or Google Pay through the app.
What happens after you pay
Your payment is processed instantly and the merchant sees the confirmation

A digital receipt appears in your transaction history
If you earned a reward or hit a tier milestone, you will see a notification
